Terms of use

Not for eligibility decisions. PersonFu is an informational public-record and open-source intelligence tool — not a consumer reporting agency. Reports may not be used for employment, tenant screening, credit, insurance, lending, government benefits, or any other FCRA-regulated decision. What this means.

1. Acceptable use

You may use PersonFu only for lawful, informational purposes. By searching or unlocking a report you affirm you will not use PersonFu for any prohibited purpose.

2. Prohibited uses

  • Employment screening or hiring decisions
  • Tenant or housing screening
  • Credit eligibility or lending decisions
  • Insurance eligibility or underwriting
  • Government benefits eligibility
  • Any other FCRA-regulated eligibility decision
  • Stalking, harassment, intimidation, or doxxing
  • Locating or profiling minors

Searches that indicate intent to harm, stalk, harass, or target a minor are blocked and may be logged and reported.

3. Not a consumer reporting agency

PersonFu is not a consumer reporting agency and reports are not consumer reports under the FCRA. See Not a Background Check.

4. Accuracy and limitations

Public-record and open-source data can be incomplete, outdated, or mismatched. Results include confidence scores and may produce false positives. Verify before relying on any result.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Memberships renew until cancelled. Manage billing in billing. If a report fails to generate, we automatically retry or refund.

6. Removal and corrections

Individuals may request removal or correction at any time via the opt-out center.

7. Account responsibilities

Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or prohibited use.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to account holders.
