PersonFu is not a background check service
PersonFu is an informational public-record and open-source intelligence search tool. It is not a consumer reporting agency, and its reports are not consumer reports. Do not use PersonFu for any decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
You may not use PersonFu for:
- • Employment screening or hiring decisions
- • Tenant or housing screening
- • Credit eligibility or lending decisions
- • Insurance eligibility or underwriting
- • Government benefits eligibility
- • Any other FCRA-regulated eligibility decision
- • Stalking, harassment, intimidation, or doxxing
- • Locating or profiling minors
What “not FCRA” means
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulates “consumer reports” used to make eligibility decisions — for employment, housing, credit, insurance, and similar. Consumer reporting agencies must meet strict accuracy, dispute, and permissible-purpose obligations.
PersonFu is built as an informational public-record and open-source intelligence search tool. We do not assemble or evaluate information for the purpose of determining eligibility for any of those decisions, and we do not authorize you to use our information that way.
What PersonFu is for
Reconnecting with people, verifying an unknown caller, checking your own public footprint, and researching public identity signals with clear source context and confidence scoring.
What we never include
No SSNs, no full dates of birth, no credit scores, no banking or medical data, no precise real-time location, no private credentials or breached passwords, no minor profiles, and no protected-class inferences.
If you need an FCRA-compliant report
Use a provider that is a consumer reporting agency and follows FCRA requirements. PersonFu is not that provider.
